All good things must come to an end

Today marks the end of Desperately Ever After’s blog tour, with a double stop at Tracy Riva’s Books & Reviews, and Deal Shaing Aunt.

It’s been fun, with a month-long price drop to $2.99, giveaways galore (read on to see which are still ongoing), interviews, guest posts, and some pretty darn fantastic reviews that left me smiling almost every day.

Here are some of the highlights. The red asterisk indicates sites that are still offering free copies. Keep in mind that the price drop is only temporary, and the sequel will be out in August … so now’s the perfect time to get acquainted with Rapunzel, Belle, Cinderella, and the rest of the gang as they cope with life after true love’s kiss!

“It’s the perfect book to be reading this summer and it’s completely unputdownable!” ~ The YA’s Nightstand *** Giveaway ends July 1!

“An explosive cocktail that will have you laughing out loud and wanting more and more! … Laura’s style is witty and flirty and had me turning page after page devouring this little gem.” ~ Lost in Chick Lit

“No more damsel in distress, useless without her prince, but modern day woman struggling with and enjoying love. Desperately Ever After is a wonderfully sarcastic, romantic and heartwarming tale about love and friendship with witty conversations, juicy cliches and a healthy dose of humor. I cannot wait to read the sequel!” ~ M’s Bookshelf

“A fantastically funny, thought provoking and inspiring read and I am so pleased to discover that this book is the first in a series so I get to follow the women’s next adventures soon. It turns out that happily ever after was only the beginning!Mature Bookworm *** Giveaway ends June 30!

Take a cast of traditional fairy-tale princesses, familiar to every Disney fan, and smoosh them all together into a wacky union of pretty modern kingdoms where they all rule together and then watch everything go to shit. It’s wonderful. I had so so much fun reading it and it really made my day. … Empowering and hilarious, I think everyone should read this.” ~ Tea Party Princess

Desperately Ever After is a brilliant and fun read that makes fairy tale characters relatable to the modern world in a seamless fashion! Definitely worth a read!” ~ Trips Down Imagination Road

“Think part fairytale with a splash of Desperate Housewives and a dash of Sex and City and you’ve got a cracking cocktail of a book.” ~ Compelling Reads

“This story draws out the emotional side of our fairy tale princesses, while keeping the humor intact. … It’s no longer a case of just reading their stories and hoping to meet our prince charming and getting swept away. Kenyon shows that the fairy tale promise is not all that it’s cracked up to be. She keeps it real and enduring for the modern woman.” ~ Janice G. Ross, author of Damaged Girl and Island Hopping

“I’m sure you all know each and every one of these princess’ stories but Laura puts an exciting twist on their happily ever after, which I loved.” ~ Chicklit vs. Fantasy *** Giveaway ends July 3!

“This book was interesting, different, funny and insightful. … From YA on up I think you will enjoy this retelling of what happens after the “And they lived happily ever after.” ~ Tracy Riva Books & Reviews
